Blood Moon/SuperMoon Eclipse

Hopefully, you all got to drink in the sublime sky-show that we were privileged to see this evening…  This was the first time during one of these so-called Blood Moon events that the Moon did actually look to be tinged with red from where I was watching.  It was really something to behold…

And if you’re into Astrology, eclipses are thought to foretell intense and often sudden changes or revelations.  These occurrences can be difficult, but they can also lead to growth and transformation.  You may want to take note that at the time of tonight’s eclipse, the Moon was at roughly 5 degrees Aries, while the Sun was directly opposite at 5 degrees Libra.  If you have any Planets or Points (Ascendant, Midheaven, etc.) in the 0-10 degree ranges of either of those Signs, or in the same ranges in Cancer or Capricorn (the other Cardinal Signs), you may be especially tuned in to the effects of this particular eclipse.  Take a look at your chart to be sure!

And if you missed the eclipse, take a look at some photos posted online, too, as it really was something to see…

  1. I had set my alarms to various points of the eclipse but it was so cloudy where I was, I couldn’t see anything! The sky was a reddish color (but I think it was coming from the air force base nearby) I did set up my crystals, cards and I set up a bottle of water to get charged with all the wonderful moon energies! I’m glad you got to enjoy it!

    • Thank you! Yeah, it seemed that a lot of my friends in other cities had the same luck that you did the other night: clouds obscured the show. I’m sorry you didn’t get to witness it first-hand. Great moves with charging your various items, though — hopefully, they’ll bring you all kinds of lunar goodness in the days ahead!
