I’ve written BEFORE about how when I sleep with a piece of Leopardskin Jasper under my pillow – like the piece shown here – I very often end up having dreams about animals.
Two nights ago, I slept with this very same piece under my pillow…but I had no dreams that night about much of anything that I was able to recall, and definitely none about animals.
But then last night, I went to the home of a client, and when I left, I saw a rabbit on the lawn across the street. I haven’t seen any rabbits in months, probably not since last summer. As I drove out of the neighborhood another one ran across my path in the street. That makes two within a few minutes of each other, right…?
I then decided to stop and grab a bit of Chinese food on my way home. I know: so far, this all seems very innocent and disconnected…
But then after I got home and feasted, I broke open one of the fortune cookies, and the fortune that you see here was inside: “If you chase two rabbits, both will escape.” Whoa.
I can’t help but feel that the Leopardskin Jasper was involved here. If you’re at all into shamanic concepts, and especially those that revolve around animal spirit notions, I highly recommend some experimentation with a chunk of Leopardskin Jasper.
Meanwhile, I’ll be over here trying to remember not to chase two rabbits at the same time…
